"Montrose allowed me to not only embrace my own talents , but also find a way to use them to serve both my community and God."

Andrea R-G. '21 has performed at an impressive number of venues, from Carnegie Hall to the highly selective Bel Canto Summer Institute in Italy. After graduating from Montrose, she now studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
"I thank every teacher who ever urged me to dig deeper in a text, to clarify my thinking, and, beyond the classroom, to empathize with and reach out to other people. It’s the others-centered attitude Montrose fosters that allows me to understand people a little bit better. When your environment leads you to understand people, there’s no limit to what you can uncover in a monologue, in a scene, or in the richest verse of Shakespeare."

Anna Sheehan '21 won second place in the English Speaking Union's National Shakespeare Competition in 2021 as a senior at Montrose. Now Anna studies at The Catholic University of America's Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art.
