Partner Programs

Montrose students broaden their horizons through experiences with non-profits around the country and the world. This is not an exhaustive list, but upper school student favorites include:
International Exchange Programs with Sister Schools
  • Dublin: experience Irish culture, travel and visit with students at Rosemont School
  • Madrid: explore the capital, travel and visit with students at Colegio Orvalle
  • Paris: spend 10 days immersed in French with students from College Les Vignes 
  • Pamplona: Live immersed in Spanish for 3 weeks and study at Colegio Izaga
Pre-Professional and Leadership School-Year Programs
Pre-Professional and Political Summer Programs
  • Lights, Camera, Action: spend a week in LA, learning about the business and ethics of media, learning from filmmakers. 
  • Medical Careers Seminar: spend a week in Boston shadowing doctors, reviewing case studies and participating in ethics seminars; sponsored by the Cedar Wood Foundation. Email medicalcareerseminar@gmail.com to learn more. 
  • Moral Life and Classical Tradition Seminar: spend a week at the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton discussing key texts with professors and other high school students.
  • Washington Week: spend a week studying domestic or foreign policy in the nation’s capital.
Service and Faith Formation Programs
  • Mustard Seed: spend spring break caring for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in Jamaica or Dominican Republic.
  • Retreats at Arnold Hall Conference Center: spend a weekend getting to know God and yourself better through times of prayer and practical talks.
  • Study Nights at Leland House: join other high school girls for study and dinner, then participate in a class or discussion about living the Christian Faith.
  • Yuma Serves DC: spend a week in the summer serving the most vulnerable in our nation’s capital.
